About Gary and A Sound Massage...
Trained at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Gary has been practicing massage for over 12 years. Always striving to provide therapeutically unique sessions for his clients, he soon created “A Sound Massage”. By incorporating sound vibration, beautiful music selections, quality sound equipment and an exceptional intuitive touch...he has fused all of these elements, and more, into something which simply must be experienced to truly appreciate!
Front and center to this experience is the custom built Vibroacoustic Sound Table. Vibroacoustics is a technology that translates the sound you can hear into sound you can feel. It is delivered so cleanly that the brain interprets the stimulus as sound, not shaking. These sound vibrations are administered through the body via specially designed transducers which are built into the massage table. You’re immersed in relaxing, healing vibrations which encapsulate you in soothing sounds as your stresses melt away. The incorporation of Vibroacoustics triggers the Relaxation Response in the body. The result is decreased muscle tension, a lowered heart rate and blood pressure, a deeper breathing pattern, calming of the stomach, and a peaceful, pleasant mood.

Musical Massage
Go beyond a typical Swedish massage. You will be “bathed” in beautiful music selections custom mixed for your session. Feel the music vibrations through the table. Massage strokes and flow seem perfectly choreographed and in unison with the music. Some clients have described the experience of being enveloped in music and vibrations as being “inside the music”. If you prefer to “lose yourself” in your session, THIS is the massage for you!
The Towel Treatment
Recommended if you sense an overall tightness in your body. Both dry and hot/moist hand towels are used throughout most the session...with an emphasis on releasing fascial restrictions. An excellent method to incorporate trigger point therapy while being “cushioned” by the towels.
Restorative Relief Therapy
Commonly referred to as “therapeutic” or “deep tissue”, however, this massage is anything but “common”! An excellent choice when specific needs must be addressed. After discussing and determining your goals, we will target your specific and priority areas of pain or discomfort and utilize various techniques to alleviate them. Pressure is always adjusted for your comfort level. Regular feedback and “participation” of the client is often helpful in order to ensure maximum results. While this massage could possibly be a “workout”, tempo is typically brought down to finish the session on a “soft note”.

The TDP Lamp features a round plate coated with a proprietary mineral clay formation consisting of 33 earth elements essential to the human body. When activated by the built-in heating element, this mineral plate emits a special band of far-infrared waves ranging from 2 to 25 (microns) in wavelength that coincide with the wavelengths and intensity of the electromagnetic radiations emanating from the human body. Cupping Therapy $25
This therapy has been practiced for centuries. By creating suction and negative pressure, it releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluids and toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. Myofascial release is direct, and correct application addresses a myriad of debilitating and stubborn conditions. Restructuring of muscular tissue is possible with cumulative treatments.
