About Gary and A Sound Massage...
Trained at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Gary has been practicing massage for over 12 years. Always striving to provide therapeutically unique sessions for his clients, he soon created “A Sound Massage”. By incorporating sound vibration, beautiful music selections, quality sound equipment and an exceptional intuitive touch...he has fused all of these elements, and more, into something which simply must be experienced to truly appreciate!
Front and center to this experience is the custom built Vibroacoustic Sound Table. Vibroacoustics is a technology that translates the sound you can hear into sound you can feel. It is delivered so cleanly that the brain interprets the stimulus as sound, not shaking. These sound vibrations are administered through the body via specially designed transducers which are built into the massage table. You’re immersed in relaxing, healing vibrations which encapsulate you in soothing sounds as your stresses melt away. The incorporation of Vibroacoustics triggers the Relaxation Response in the body. The result is decreased muscle tension, a lowered heart rate and blood pressure, a deeper breathing pattern, calming of the stomach, and a peaceful, pleasant mood.
